Block polymers in solution form micelles and vesicles, which assemble to exclude incompatible block(s) from the solvent, whether it be aqueous, organic, or ionic liquid. By monitoring the exchange kinetics of block polymers and other solutes between micelles and vesicles, we seek fundamental kinetic and thermodynamic understanding of the behavior of assembled block copolymer systems in solution.
